SENDI CLUB

INTRODUCTION

About Us

Semaian Budi Club or also known as SENDI Club is established in 2004 with the aim to unleash the potential and enhance the soft skills among school students. This aim is pioneered by the previous President, Br. Meor Khairul Rafiuddin who brought major changes in the club programmes for its own betterment. SENDI Club is a mentoring based club that provides free mentoring service towards primary school students from Sk Batu Muda, Sk Sentul 1 and Sk Sentul 2. All the modules conducted by SENDI Club richly benefitted the students in term of moral values and experiences that they acquired, as well as assisted them to broaden their general knowledge. Hopefully, there will be more people who are interested and committed in answering the call of volunteerism in the future.

SENDI Educational Visit was established in 2015 with the aim to unleash the potential and enhance the soft skills among school students. This program is among the most highly anticipated program organised by SENDI Club. The themes and content of this program vary annually as planned by the Program Manager to assure that the students gain new knowledge each time they participate in this program.

A lot of positive feedbacks were received from the teachers and parents on this program. They highlighted that the modules conducted richly benefitted the students in term of moral values and experiences that they acquired, as well as assisted the students to broaden their general knowledge. Hence, this is one of the reasons that SENDI Educational Visit in the almanac was maintained.

This program does not only benefit SENDI’s target group, but also provide opportunities to the volunteers to develop their volunteering passion along with other crucial skills. It is hoped that there will be more people interested and committed in answering the call of volunteerism in the future.

Ibadah Camp

IMPACTFUL PROGRAM

Ibadah Camp is among the impactful programs organised by SENDI Club. In comparison to other programs, Ibadah Camp injects a dose of spiritual aspect into the contents, alongside with the main contents that are delivered in every camp. It is not only focusing on the empowerment of soft skills among the participants, but also having them to learn and practice the spiritual contents of the program. Annually, the Program Manager will create a theme for Ibadah Camp; hence the variety of the themes every year.

The participants who are primary school children were always filled with enthusiasm to participate in this program as it is an overnight program and hence, they can spend more time with the volunteers and their friends. SENDI has received great remarks from the participants and their parents on this camp.

The end goal is to assist the participants to not only have good character and personality, but also uphold religious values and piety. SENDI is always committed in delivering the best content to the participants as well as sharpening the management skills of the volunteers.
